What Is The Secret Characteristic Of The Successful Entrepreneur

Most people fantasize about creating a successful business in order to live their dream life. But reality hits and they realize that they start to worry? How did entrepreneurs like Robert Kiyosaki or Oprah Winfrey become successful?

Successful entrepreneurs are visionaries. They are clear about what they want to accomplish and develop a strategy to achieve their goals.

The first step is to define what success looks like for you. If you haven’t identified what success looks like for you, how will you know when you’ve achieved it? Someone once said, “If you aim at nothing, you’ll get there.”

Take some time to reflect and ask yourself some important questions, like:

* Why did you start your business?
* What do you want to accomplish with it?
* What motivates you to continue building your business despite the challenges you face?
* Are you creating extra income for your children’s college education?
* Do you want to spend more time with your family?
* Are you tired of working for someone else?
* Do you want to travel to exotic places?

Then define what success would look like for you. Be very specific. How much money will you make? Where will you be living?

Would you be giving to charities? Who would benefit from your wealth? Imagine yourself in your new home. Visualize yourself making a larger contribution to the charities of your choice.

Imagine yourself going on your dream trip. Where would you go? Who would travel with you? What would you do? What would you see? How would you feel to arrive there after dreaming about it for so long?

Imagine working from home and having the freedom to spend more time with your family. What would that feel like? How would the relationship with your children and/or spouse be affected? What would you do differently? Would you go on more vacations? Plan more fun activities with your children?

Write out the vision of your successful business in vivid, descriptive language. State exactly what you will be doing and with whom. Describe how your business success leads to improved relationships with your spouse and/or children. Include references to the charities or individuals who will benefit from your wealth.

Keep a copy of this masterpiece by your bed. Read it every night, before going to bed, experiencing the accompanied emotions. The key to becoming a visionary is to stay connected to the feelings that your vision evokes. Imagine how you will feel when the reality unfolds.

Every day spend time visualizing your business success. As you become very clear about your vision of success, the solutions to your challenges will unfold. You don’t have to try and figure it out by yourself. God will guide you to the answers to your problems! You are not alone.

So, hold a clear description of your business success. Write out your vision. Stay focussed. Amaze yourself as you become the successful entrepreneur of your dreams!

Brian Meshkin Talented Entrepreneur & Passionate Community Activist

Brian Meshkin graduated from Glenelg High School in 1994, and went on to University of Maryland, College Park, where he began a course of study that would make him arguably one of America’s most impressive young entrepreneurs. After just three years of study there, including Advanced Placement classes, he obtained his Bachelors Degree in Government and Politics and General Business in 1997.

He went on to serve as a Sales Representative for Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals; co-founded with his brother, and was the co-CEO of, Surfbuzz.com; served as a Group Manager and Associate Director of Marketing at Prometheus Laboratories, Inc., and was founding President of nutrigenomics company Salugen, Inc., just to name a few accomplishments. He is also a former adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at Howard County Community College, and former Independent Consultant and Investor at Meshkin Ventures. In December 2009, he founded his own Personalized Pain Medicine lab, Proove Biosciences, Inc., and is currently the President.

In December 2010 he took on another venture very different than his usual and ran for Howard County Board of Education. He was the youngest person, and first Asian-American, to ever be elected. Despite this particular venture being seemingly out of his ordinary course of business, the cause is near to his heart, as he grew up in Western Howard County and still lives there with his wife and their three children. His passion for community service began at a very young age, just thirteen when a schoolmate and friend on a bicycle was killed in front of his home after being struck by a vehicle while not wearing a helmet. He took the initiative and led a student movement to getting the United State’s first Child Bicycle Helmet Law implemented. He went on to have over three hundred similar laws passed.

Brian Meshkin is a very driven, savvy entrepreneur with over ten years experience of introducing new technology to the health care industry and researching the benefits of personalized medicine. He has won numerous awards and has authored fifteen publications. Furthermore, he is an enthusiastic and respected pillar of his community, using his elected position on the Howard County Board of Education to expand digital learning and emphasize personalized education.

Mike Trimarco Entrepreneur Par Excellence

Success stories dont really start from the upper echelons of society. It is usually the rags to riches story that inspire and instill hope among budding entrepreneurs. You cannot say the same about Mike Trimarco. His story is not one of struggle against odds with nothing to ward off those hurdles. Rather, Trimarcos story is one of working his way up the ladder of success after being educated and schooled to do that. His educational qualifications are dwarfed only by his professional ones. Mike Trimarco is one of those rare breed of men who have applied their education to build up a business empire. There was little recklessness or risky ventures with Trimarco. It was more of a practiced craftsmanship to build up something with patience and perseverance.

Mike Trimarco went to the best schools. He completed his Bachelors in Science from the Cornell University in New York. This happens to be an Ivy League college in USA. Trimarco went on to study business at the Harvard University. His distinguished achievements as a student got him the best jobs. He worked as a financial employee for prestigious firms like Lehman Brothers Trading and GE Capital. But Trimarco was not happy working for others. He wanted to build up something of his own. His sweep of vision was not to be contained in a company that was not his. So he decided to chuck up his cushy job and start something from scratch. In the year 1999, Mike Trimarco struck out on his own. Ten years down the line, he became the numero uno dealer of Dish Network Inc., the largest satellite TV provider in America.

The road to success was not without hurdles. Mike Trimarco faced what many businesspersons of his caliber generally come across. There were issues with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), there were falsified reports of scam and fraud. But Trimarco always considered these as distractions. He knew that he was building up something not just for himself or his business empire. He was making sure that American citizens get access to the best possible entertainment packages. He was working tirelessly to rise beyond the accusations of fraud and scam and give back customers what they had entrusted in him: the license to entertain them. Trimarco was working full time to bring Dish Network Inc. to as many American homes as possible.

Mike Trimarcos vision for his company is not confined by the barriers that have cropped up over time. He managed to quell all of them in getting ahead. Surely, along the way, Trimarco made some

enemies and detractors. His success story rubbed many complacent business networks the wrong way. Before they knew what hit them, Trimarco had overtaken them in business domains that they have worked in for ages. Trimarco quickly realized the value of digital technology and how it will revolutionize the way people watch TV. His vision for a future where every American home has access to satellite TV is well on track to be an achieved dream.

Advantages Of Using Promos In Your Business

Promos are considered one of the most effective and cheapest means for marketing. Corporate gifts or promos are not very expensive and can be less than a dollar as well. According to the reports of an Advertising Specialty Industry, around 56% of people keep the promos, while 58% of the people remember name of the company printed on the promos. Promos are cost-effective means of advertising brand image of your business. This article discusses about some useful tips on how you can make the most of promos for a campaign.

You should be aware of the wants and desires of your prospective clients:

Promos that you use must be market driven. It is very important customers appreciate the promos that you give out; as this will help you increase your customer base. Therefore, what you can do is, make the promotional products the way your clients expect them to be. You will have to spend time conducting research, when it comes to determining the right promos.

You must be very cautious all through the process, because business organizations have the tendency of losing their core message in their attempt to target niche audiences. Your brand identity must be clearly expressed in advertising merchandise so that people wont have any problem getting the message you want to promote.

Remember less is more:

You should keep in mind the concept of less is more while designing promos for marketing. You should keep the text and color to the minimum to attract attention of prospective clients. Too many colors and words tend to make the promos look messy and chaotic. There is amazing elegance in simplicity and this helps you effectively project your business message to your clients. Untidy presentation shows lack of professionalism and leaves behind a negative image in minds of the clients.

Many consider bargaining or haggling a desperate act in business. It is actually a business negotiation process that a wise entrepreneur does to cut down the overall cost. Once you are aware of the basic negotiation skills, you will be able to save substantial amount of money.

Some of the commonly used promos include T-shirts, pens, gym bags, mugs, and other useful pieces of merchandise. Targeted promos for your customers generate more sales and help attract attention of clients to your site. Make sure to give out good quality freebies, as your company image will crumble down when you offer cheap promos.

Using promos for marketing is one of the most affordable means to increase your profit margins and improve your business. So, keep in mind the three useful abovementioned pointers and create a brand image of your business with promos or promotional gifts. You will be amazed to take your business products and services to an altogether new height with such promotional items.
